Heading South

Back in 2008, my wife and I decided to leave New York and move to Florida. I drove ahead of time and wrote down some instructions on how to get from where we lived in an apartment in Westchester County, down to Palm Beach Country and a town called Wellington where my sister lived. Here is what I scribbled on a piece of paper:


Garden state

Route 95

Trenton, watch signs for

Jersey turnpike, 295

Take to 95, JFK

Through Baltimore

Signs for silver springs, Bethesda 495 a

Exit 27

 i495-n.  Then to

Exit 57a

signs for 

Wellington

What I find amusing, looking back, is that I could drive 1,500 miles from New York to Florida with such minimalistic instructions
